This is a review from WMPowerUser comparing all the available Tetrominoes games on the Windows Phone Marketplace. Tetrada 1.3 was included in the review, and although the triple priced official Tetris (TM) game got first place thanx to the bulk of features it provides, Tetrada won a very respectable second place, above all other Tetrominoes games out there. Not bad at all, and I am sure that with future updates like in-game music, better gestures and alternative game modes we might just win first place next time.
Update: The new version is now on the marketplace. Enjoy!
The new version of Tetrada will be available in the Marketplace in a few days. Changelog reads:
Tweaked gestures sensitivity
Fixed incoming call bug
Fixed various small bugs
Changed pause menu functionality
Icons changed
Accelerometer eye candy
Additional lighting eye candy
Tweaked in-game sounds
Added level progress indicator
Added vibration
Bonus free fact about tetrominoes:
Tetrominoes are the four element special case of polyominoes. Polyominoes have been used in popular puzzles since at least 1907, and the name is given by the mathematician Solomon W. Golomb in 1953. However, even the enumeration of pentominoes is dated to antiquity.
For the next week (until 12/12) we have a special price for Tetrada for Windows Phone 7. Instead of $1.99, the price is now $1.29.
